Scripture Memory Verse Challenge - Week #11
Ephesians 6:10-11
Lots of talk about ISIS... the president... presidential debates... and the list goes on...
Life is at times hard... and events that happen in the world, especially right
now, can cause so much doubt and extreme frustration.
Thanksgiving is here and so will be time with families. Sometimes life can be difficult even with family. Unfortunately, that's what Satan wants from us... to doubt, fear and become extremely frustrated with this life. His main purpose is to steal, kill and destroy; steal our faith and cause us to doubt, kill our relationships and destroy our families and friendships...
This verse shows me that this is not a simple journey; it is one that takes "weapons" of God to defeat the devil. And following Jesus is not done in weakness but with God's power, strength and His word. It's such a great analogy to a warrior. Jesus was never weak and following him is not for the fainthearted. To stay strong, we must put on the armor of God to fight Satan and all he stands for. May God give you the strength you need this week to defend yourself against the devil's schemes. Happy Thanksgiving and may you see all of the blessings that He has given you and may his armor protect you and keep you safe!
