Scripture Memory Verse Challenge - Week # 7
Psalm 46:10
Has a verse ever just hit you right in the gut? You read it, you know it, you just struggle with it? Well it certainly happens to me more than I want to admit. Especially this week. And it's a short verse. I've had something going on with my jaw and I got really scared. Not sure what it is still. Went to the doctor and actually cried like a baby. What is that? Certainly not being still and knowing that God is in control.
The doctor said it could be swollen lymph nodes or perotid artery and didn't seem too worried. Got an antibiotic to take to help. Still hurts and swollen but I'm ok.
For those people, friends, and family that have an illness that you struggle with constantly I now have but a small glimpse of what that must look like.
The faith to know that God is with us and we must be still to see it, feel it or accept it, well let's just say I have a longer way to go than I ever thought.
May you be still this week and know that He is your God. And might I suggest to read the entire Psalm 46 and see what it means to know that God can handle anything.
God bless you this week with whatever you are going through!
