Scripture Memory Verse Challenge ~ Week #4
So the Lord gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. - Joshua 21:43-45
To be completely honest, I'm still working on memorizing this one. It's certainly longer but there's some good stuff in it.
It's been a tough week:
~ my dad's dr appt brought some not so good news
~ a friend's husband lost his job
~ another took his life
~ a project I've been working on for my mom has certainly worn on my very last nerve, so much that I've thought about quitting
~ and the numerous list goes on along with so many other challenges in our world
So how do we take it all in and deal with it?
I'm learning that these verses are crucial to our sanity and peace. Life is hard. But the last verse says that NOT ONE of ALL the Lord's GOOD promises failed.
And one of His promises is that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Whatever you are going through, may you find His promises will carry you through. God bless you this week 💕
