Scripture Memory Verse Challenge ~ Week #12
This week I'm including 4 different verses but somehow they are all the same. So there must be some sort of message we are being sent. I thought this week it appropriate to focus on verses giving thanks as we celebrate for Thanksgiving.
I don't know about you but I've been really bothered by the "thanks-getting" commercials. They are taking the deep meaning of being thankful and turning it into expecting more.
I think I'm learning that life is far more meaningful when we focus on what we have instead of what we want.
To be thankful for our families, our friends, our homes and our health, our heaters, our jobs and our AC, our clean water, our time, mercy, grace and the unconditional love of God are just a few of the blessings that many of us can celebrate daily.
May your blessings fill your heart and make you feel God's presence every moment of every day. Even though we may not always feel it, may we try to focus on our gifts more than what we don't have.
