Scripture Memory Verse Challenge - week #16
With Christmas now behind us and the new year ahead, so much to look forward to yet so many things left to wonder about?
What will this year bring?
How will we deal with adversity that comes our way?
Will we be able to see our blessings even in the midst of our struggles?
We have no way of knowing what is to come.
Good or bad?
In a way I always think that might be best. Because if I knew what was coming during some of the hardest times in my life, I may not have been able to handle them.
The best news is not that God knows what will happen to us, today, tomorrow and even in the next hour. The best news is that He knows & He plans for us to prosper and not to harm us. He really does love us and care for us. The proof: this verse. He doesn't wish for anything bad to happen to us.
May we all focus on that beautiful promise. Yes, life does bring difficulty. As my daughter said today, "Life is crazy!" Amen, sister.
But God wants the very best for each and every one of us. And even though we may only see glimpses at times, to know that He cares, matters more than anything.
I hope you all had a blessed Christmas and found beautiful moments to inspire you. May this new year, you see how God works in every moment to prosper you.
Happy New Year!
